Eizo RadiForce RX240 21″ 2MP Color Diagnostic Monitor – (RX240-BK)
The Eizo RadiForce RX240 medical display dicom monitor is ideal for accurate display of CR and DR grayscale images and color images such as 3D color rendering and endoscopic images. High-definition and multifunctional model featuring precise calibration compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard. By utilizing an energy-efficient LED as a backlight, the monitor achieves a high-brightness and low power consumption at the same time. Unlike conventional CCFL backlights, LED backlights deteriorate more slowly and thus the monitor offers a longer service life. Since the LED backlight is mercury free, it will reduce any potential impact on the environment when it is disposed of.
With the bundled RadiCS LE quality control software, a simplified calibration compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard can be performed to correct the brightness and grayscale tones of the monitor ensuring the most accurate and consistent shadings possible over time. The Eizo RadiForce RX240 medical display monitor can support 10-bit input for each RGB color, displaying more than one billion colors simultaneously. This ensures accurate reproduction of color tones for 3D color rendering and image fusion. Eizo’s unique Hybrid Gamma Function takes note of whether the images being displayed are monochrome or color and displays each image in optimum brightness and grayscale tones. This expands the usability of PACS applications constantly attaining sufficiency with mix of color and monochrome medical images.
The Eizo Radiforce RX240 diagnostic monitor has an Integrated Front Sensor (IFS) housed within the front bezel that measures the brightness and grayscale tones and then calibrates to the DICOM Part 14 standard. This function is enabled without having to connect and disconnect, so while performing QC tasks it does not interfere with the user’s viewing area and helps to cut down on the the quality control workload and maintenance costs. The presence sensor on the Eizo Radiforce RX240 combines convenience with saving by ensuring that the monitor conserves power when it is not in use. The presence sensor prompts the monitor to switch to power save mode when it detects the user is away from the monitor, and then resume normal operation when the user returns.
