GE BiliSoft Phototherapy System

GE BiliSoft Phototherapy System

BiliSoft Phototherapy System is the next generation LED fiber-optic based technology for treatment of indirect hyperbilirubinemia in newborns. Its increased surface area, high spectral irradiance, and long lasting blue narrow-band LED light are the features that are needed for intensive, efficacious phototherapy as recommended by AAP Guidelines. It supports and promotes developmental care, enables infant-parent bonding and provides healing light where it is needed – in Neonatal ICU, Pediatrics, Well Baby Nursery and at home.

The BiliSoft Phototherapy System meets or exceeds the 2004 AAP Guidelines for intensive phototherapy and helps you provide developmental and family-centered care virtually anywhere.

Comfort is the keyword, whichever cover options you select. The flat, cushioned BiliSoft cover lets you swaddle baby and phototherapy pad together. The BiliSoft nest offers sick babies the boundaries and support they need, via a cushy footroll and gentle, transparent straps.

• The BiliSoft Phototherapy System supports developmental and family-centered care: You and your patient’s family can wrap, feed, and hold baby during phototherapy sessions, which promotes a healing environment without interrupting the benefits of kangaroo care.
• You can position and mount BiliSoft in a number of ways. The versatile options available are: Bed mounted units that conserve space in all care areas and Roll stand mounted options that provide added flexibility.
• Ultra-soft, disposable BiliSoft covers are made of flame-retardant, skin-friendly fabric
• The LED light engines last for thousands of hours: The units host a long-lasting blue LED light engine that provides 8,000 to 10,000 hours of light therapy.
